PET CT Scan Facility
DTC West - Jackson Memorial Hospital
The PET-CT Scan facility is positioned within an existing area of the Diagnostic Treatment Center of Jackson Memorial Hospital that was originally design for a Linear Accelerator.
The program required Edward Lewis Architects to provide a design for a new PET CT unit within the existing area. The AHCA project consisted of the PET Scan room, Controller room and other equipment space.
Edward Lewis Architects redesigned a section of the hospital to include a Hot Lab, 2 lead lined patient rooms, a new ADA restroom and a Nurses Station, Pet Scanner Room and Controller Room.
The project incorporated new finishes throughout the space.
The Universal Trailer site was designed as an appendage to the Diagnostic Treatment unit within Jackson Memorial Hospital main campus. The site is positioned adjacent to the existing MRI Trailer Site.
The site was design to accommodate a Mobile PET CT Scan and other types of Diagnostic Equipment. A new lighted canopy was incorporated into the design to cover the trailer and the access to the units. The existing power was reconfigured to accommodate the new loads.
