Edward Lewis Architects worked with the City of Coral Gables for a period of over 10 years. Edward Lewis Architects was selected a PSA- Professional Service Contract with Public works, under this agreement Edward Lewis Architects has performed over 30 municipal projects.
Edward Lewis Architects designed 3 new park facilities for the City of Coral Gables. The projects involved working with local communities to develop a consensus and include public participation during the design process.
Edward Lewis Architects is also involved with nine ADA Improvement projects, including historical facilities, the City Hall and Commission Chambers, the redesign and remodeling of their downtown Police and Fire station.
Edward Lewis Architects provide space planning services for the first major remodeling of this 81,000 square foot Fire and Police space since its construction over 20 years ago. This involves improving the existing security, and redesigning the space to function more efficiently and accommodate future growth.
