Edward Lewis Architects worked with the developer of the property to covert the Racal Milgo Manufacturing site (A Electronics manufacturer of commercial voice and data communications networks, defense, and marine electronics).

This project consist of the remodeling and alteration to an existing 120,000 SF office building including a 20,000 SF addition and the 200,000 SF manufacturing site. The $4.0 million project budget allowed for the application of a complete new exterior skin to the building and the addition of 30% more glass to the structure. New ADA approved elevators have been added to the project and the existing elevators have been refurbished to meet ADA requirements.

All building systems have been modified and changed including, a new water chilled cooling system, water service, fire service, electrical service and a emergency generating system.

The entire facility has been modified to meet all Life Safety Codes, the FBC, Federal ADA and local building codes. The restroom facilities have been modified, ramps have been added to the facility and the parking has been adjusted to allow for complete access to the facility.

In addition Edward Lewis Architects worked with the developer to provide architectural and engineering design services for the warehouse tenant (Symbiosis) during a 5 year period. The designs included a building expansion and parking lot expansion.
